Learn About The Siege of Suffolk During The Civil War

Award-winning historian John V. Quarstein relates the story of the Siege of Suffolk in April 1863, when Lt. General James Longstreet was tasked with attempting to capture the Union garrison at Suffolk. That attempt failed, but another important objective was achieved during the siege that helped General Lee’s army. We hope to see you there!
